opportunity to experience Zero Gravity Flight for real!
Don’t take us wrong: you don’t need to board a spacecraft
and abandon our planet in order to perform your dream. Instead, you can try out
the Zero G Flight being on Earth!
How’s that possible?
Weightless conditions can be simulated during the
flight on IL-76 MDK — a Russian special training aircraft used for cosmonauts’
training. The plane ascends to a regular altitude of 6 kilometers, then with
high speed rises to 9 kilometers. Right after reaching that height it immediately
starts to move down back to regular height. At that very moment Zero-G mode turns on and passengers on
the plane are able to enjoy Zero Gravity for 25-28 seconds! Then the whole
process repeats again.
During the flight IL-76MDK is able to imitate Zero G mode no less than 10 times. The aircraft itself is equipped and furnished
with handrails and soft coating so you can feel comfortable during the flight.
As soon as the weightless mode has indeed its
impact on the body of untrained person, medical check up 2 weeks before the date
of the flight is required. Safety is our first priority, so you should be
handed a declaration from your doctor about your overall health state.
